I believe that the teacher is always a student, lifelong learner and more facilitator than a teacher.

Nowadays, in a single classroom, students are usually found at two or three different learning levels. This means that a teacher often has to carry out three different types of teaching in the same class. Not all students in a class are at the same learning level, nor have they mastered the same learning skills. At such times, a teacher is required to provide three different types of learning experiences to students, which is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but sometimes can also unintentionally disadvantage those brighter children who already have a relatively better grasp of the skills.

Generally, students can be categorized into Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced groups. This classification can apply across classes from Grade 1 to Grade 4 or 5, or even for the entire school. If, while running special remedial teaching sessions, students from different grades are grouped into Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced learning sections, it will be possible to provide each level of students with more effective learning experiences appropriate to their stage.

Such a system will improve both the effectiveness and quality of teaching and learning, while also saving time and effort for teachers. For example, when a teacher is helping lagging students practice letter and word recognition, the more advanced and fluent readers should not be forced to repeat what they already know. Instead, they can join students from other grades who are at the same advanced level and, under the guidance of a teacher assigned to the advanced group, they can continue learning higher-level content.

This way, through a collaborative approach among all elements of the school, it becomes possible to ensure that each child learns at their appropriate pace and level.
