Topic: Names of Common Objects

1. Warm-up (5 min)

Teacher’s Activity:

विद्यार्थ्यांशी थोडं इंग्रजी बोलणं सुरू करणे.

“Good morning, students!”

“How are you today?”

विद्यार्थ्यांना म्हणणे: “Today we will learn English words from our classroom and pictures.”

Students’ Activity:

“Good morning, teacher!”

“I am fine, thank you.”

Expected Response: विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये उत्सुकता निर्माण होईल.

2. Real Object Activity (10 min)

Activity 1: Point and Say

Teacher shows chalk and says: “This is chalk. Say: chalk.”

Students repeat: “Chalk.”

Activity 2: Touch and Tell

Teacher: “Touch the blackboard.”

Students touch and say: “Blackboard.”

Activity 3: What is Missing?

Teacher keeps Pen, Book, Eraser on table. Then hides one object.

Teacher asks: “What is missing?”

Students: “The eraser is missing.”

3. Picture Reading Activity (15 min)

Activity 4: What is this?

Teacher shows flashcard of apple.

Teacher: “What is this?”

Students: “This is an apple.”

Activity 5: Guess the Picture

Teacher half covers a picture of bus.

Teacher: “Guess, what is this?”

Students: “It is a bus.”

Activity 6: Find and Match

Teacher pastes pictures of Dog, Cat, Ball on board. Below them writes words.

Teacher: “Match the word with the picture.”

Students draw lines or come forward to match.

Activity 7: Describe the Picture

Teacher shows a Garden picture.

Teacher: “What can you see?”

Students: “I see flowers. I see trees. I see children.”

4. Practice & Reinforcement (5 min)

Teacher’s Activity:

Quick revision through questions.

“Show me the book.”

“What is this?” (shows a fruit picture).

“Touch the window.”

Students’ Activity:

Respond with correct action/word.

Expected Response: विद्यार्थी शिकलेले शब्द आत्मविश्वासाने सांगतील.

5. Closing (5 min)

Teacher’s Activity:

“Good job, students! Today you learned many English words.”

Homework: “Draw 3 objects at home and write their English names.”

Students’ Activity:

Clap and repeat after teacher: “Goodbye, teacher!”
